Baler, Aurora

This trip was long in the making but I wasn't sure I could go until the last minute. A couple of friends flew in during the weekend to watch Rent. We hopped on a bus at midnight then went along with the ride. The Habol group: Cesar, Pepe, Carlito, Alvin and I only had a vague idea how to get there. But as Cesar said, everything fell into place. We left Katipunan at around 12 and reached the Five Star bus terminal around 12:30. The bus headed for Cabanatuan left at around 1. After a really short 2 hour drive, we arrived at the EJ lines terminal. There was a bus ready to leave at 3 am but was standing room only. In retrospect, it would have been interesting if we braved the bus ride standing up. After all, many people do it that way. Would the operators have allowed to topload? That is for another adventure.
